Tests and Results
Samples
If the doctor or nurse has asked you to provide a pathology sample - for example urine, stool, sputum, these must be left at reception before 12pm, Monday to Friday.
Getting your test results
Your GP, nurse or health professional will let you know when we expect (it is usually a week or less) to get your test results back at your appointment.
We will contact you only if a result is abnormal and you require treatment or further investigations.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- Telephone 01892 825488 after 3pm
- Visit us after 3pm and we will tell you what the results are
Questions about your results
Please visit Lab Tests Online to find out more about test results.
If you want to talk to someone about your results, fill out our online form on Anima and someone will be in touch or call us on 01892 825488 after 3pm.
